The Land Registry logged 7,924 sale and purchase agreements received for registration for all building units in February, a rise of 3.8% compared with January 2026 and up 84% year on year.
The total consideration for building unit sale and purchase agreements in February increased 8.6% from the previous month to $62.1 billion. This figure represented a 119.7% year-on-year increase.
A total of 6,669 agreements were for residential units, an increase of 17.6% from the previous month and a rise of 108.4% from a year ago.
The total consideration for residential units was $57.6 billion, up 17% compared with the previous month and a rise of 150.3% year on year.
There were 315,629 land register searches last month.
