LD launches Guidance Notes on Prevention of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning in Workplaces
To enhance duty holders’ awareness of CO poisoning prevention, the LD has analysed CO poisoning cases in various workplaces in recent years and collated common causes of the accidents and preventive measures for formulating the Guidance Notes on Prevention of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning in Workplaces. The guidance notes are comprehensive, covering the sources and hazards of CO at work, preventive measures, as well as safe systems of work including risk assessment, CO monitoring and measurement, emergency procedures, training and more.Issued at HKT 12:00
