East Kowloon Cultural Centre to launch “Unbox EKCC 2026” programme series
Immersive and interactive electro live concert “IMMERSION”
———————————————————————————————
Blending electronic hedonism with modern synthwave, French music producer Verlatour is going to throw an interactive electronic music party called “IMMERSION”. This multimedia music programme integrates 3D point-cloud capture technology, illuminated interactive drum pads and interactive control totems, allowing audience members to alter sound effects, lighting and visuals, take part in the creative process alongside the artist, and become one with the music.
A choreographed duet of light and shadow “Sál”
—————————————————————————
Created by Italian artistic studio fuse*, the new media dance performance “Sál” is the final chapter of its “Full Circle Trilogy” series. In boundless black holes, two dancers interact with lights and shadows in real time, alongside an exchange between acoustic and electronic music, guiding the audience to gaze at the boundary of life and cherish every moment.——————————————————————————————————
The artistic research experiment “Don’t stop, catch up, walk on”, conceived by multidisciplinary artist GayBird, brings together virtual game environments, a mediated soundwalk, immersive sounds and moving images, transforming crowd movements and ambient sounds in a public space to become part of the performance, reflecting with the audience on how technology reshapes daily life.
