The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government will host a series of celebratory events to mark the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Combining celebratory activities with patriotic education, the programme seeks to celebrate the glorious journey and tremendous achievements of the Communist Party of China over the past 105 years, and to tell a good Hong Kong story on the successful implementation of “one country, two systems”.

The HKSAR Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR jointly organised a launch ceremony of activities in celebration of the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre today (July 1), marking the commencement of these events. The Chief Executive, Mr John Lee, and the Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR, Mr Zhou Ji, officiated at the launch ceremony and delivered speeches.www.cmab.gov.hk/tc/issues/105A/
