EEB meets trade representatives on pest control work of Government

     The Environment and Ecology Bureau today (August 28) met trade representatives of the “Cross-sectoral Territory-wide Anti-rodent Action” (the Action) to share the Government’s latest progress in rodent and mosquito control, and to encourage the trade to continue strengthening co-operation with the Government in implementing effective measures to protect public health.

     On mosquito control, the FEHD introduced to the participants the latest mosquito infestation situation and mosquito control efforts. Rainfall this summer was significantly higher than last year, creating favourable conditions for mosquito breeding.
