93.2 per cent of Wang Fuk Court owners signed Agreement for Sale and Purchase before deadline
Some owners were unable to sign the ASP in time due to special circumstances such as requiring a longer time to clarify or handle the title of the WFC flat including probate, bankruptcy, title disputes, cases involving mentally incapacitated persons, or the fact that the owners are currently outside Hong Kong. Similar special circumstances are also encountered in private market transactions. The Government may consider making appropriate arrangements on a case-by-case basis at the Government’s discretion while balancing empathy, reason and law, with priority given to empathy.
The Government will continue to follow up on the assignment procedures at full speed to complete the transfer of titles.
