The Lands Department today posted land resumption notices for about 16.9 hectares of private land for development projects at San Hing Road and Hong Po Road in Tuen Mun. Land acquisition notices were also posted for around 143 sq m of government land currently occupied by eight graves and two urns.
The developments feature public housing projects and supporting infrastructure works, which will deliver approximately 20,400 public housing units.
The affected areas comprise 320 private lots, and the land will officially revert to the Government on January 16, 2027. The Government is actively working to process compensation and rehousing arrangements for affected land owners, households and businesses.
